We need to transform how cities develop—into sustainable, smart cities equipped to handle the challenges of sanitation, clean water, safe air and food security
We believe that Chemistry plays a critical role in developing a sustainable future. And that chemists have a special responsibility to develop those new products, resources and processes to make that happen.

The Elsevier Foundation Green and Sustainable Chemistry Challenge is open to individuals or nonprofit organizations around the world. 1st Prize is EUR 50,000 and 2nd Prize is EUR 25,000. Projects can be in any field of Green or Sustainable Chemistry and must be applicable for use in developing countries.
