One Week Left to Submit !

You have one week left to submit a Fall Meeting session proposal. Take advantage of the opportunity to shape the scientific program.

All fields of scientific interest will be well-represented in New Orleans at the most influential gathering of Earth and space scientists in the world. This year sessions on the topics of data & emerging technologies and geohealth are of particular interest to the Fall Meeting Program Committee. Read more about these topics, and read Fall Meeting Program Chair Denis Didier-Rousseau’s From the Prow blog post.

Session Proposal Deadline : 19 April, 11:59 p.m. ET

Before You Start the Submission Process

- Confirm your membership. Only AGU members may submit a Fall Meeting session proposal. You have already renewed your AGU membership for 2017.
- Read the guidelines. Don’t miss important information that may hinder your submission.
- Consider an alternate session format, such as a panel, lightning, eLightning, or poster-only. Learn more and view a sample eLightning poster.
- Does your topic apply to more than one topic or society ? Review the flowchart to determine if your session should be co-organized, cross-listed, or co-sponsored.
- View other submitted session proposals. Get new ideas and see what topics have already been proposed.
- Need help with the submission process ? Watch the session proposal submission tutorial videos.
